🇺🇸 Georgia Jail Association Welcomes New President

The Georgia Jail Association is proud to announce that on Monday, August 3, 2026, Lt. Jessica Daves of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office was sworn in as President of the Georgia Jail Association.

Lt. Daves took the oath of office during the Welcome Dinner, marking the beginning of the Georgia Jail Association’s Annual Training Conference at Lake Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge.

We were honored to have Assistant Chief Deeann Cash of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, a past GJA President, administer the oath and officially welcome Lt. Daves into this important leadership role.

Please join us in congratulating President Jessica Daves as she begins her term of service and leadership with the Georgia Jail Association.

Congratulations, President Daves! We look forward to all that you will accomplish in this new role and to your continued commitment to the Georgia Jail Association and the corrections profession across our great state.
