On 08/05/2026, officers were called to the 400 block of Bloomington Avenue for a suspicious male. Subject was a salesman.
On 08/04/2026, officers responded to the 500 block of Locust Street for a reported fraud involving a credit card. The victim was a 59 year old female. Investigation revealed it was a family member and the victim declined prosecution.
Parking complaint in the 200 block of Eastview Drive on 08/06/2026.
On 08/06/2026, officers responded to the 400 block of George Street for a reported issue with medications for a 76 year old female. Family member assisted as well as the family’s Doctor to rectify the situation.
Curwensville’s Code Enforcement Officer reported individuals soliciting without a permit throughout the Borough. Warning issued and individuals applied for the required permits. 08/05/2026.
On 08/02/2026, our officer responded to a tree blocking the roadway at Lincoln and Hudson Road. Station 8 Fire responded and removed the tree.
Officers responded to Anderson Avenue for threats to a female from a known male. Investigation continuing. 07/29/2026.
On 07/29/2026, officer responded to River Street to assist fire personnel with a stranded 13 year old male along the river bank. The 13 year old was retrieved back to safety.
On 07/28/2026, officers responded to a reported Hit and Run to an unoccupied vehicle near South Street.
On 07/28/2026, in a follow-up to a Sexual Assault case, a suspect’s cell phone was seized with a search warrant. Investigation continuing.
The Department is investigating threats received via Facebook Messenger to a 44 year old male. Investigation is continuing. 08/15/2026.
On 08/13/2026, a business owner reported a suspicious male entered her business and was acting agressive to her staff in the 400 block of State Street. Subject was gone upon officer’s arrival but contact was subsequently made. Owner did not want charges pressed and subject was warned to not return.
On 08/12/2026, officers responded to an argument between spouses. The female was distraught and was transported for mental evaluation.
The department received a complaint of an individual sending Child Po*******hy. The case is being investigated. 08/08/2026.
