Summer is here, and with it comes a library schedule packed full of fun events! Our first Teen Tuesday will be June 9th at 2pm. Enjoy a chill hangout with snacks, free time, and a new activity each week. Week one we will be exploring resist painting techniques and making dino eggs to crack open.

That means it's officially time to start logging your reading minutes for our "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Program!

Whether you're a T. Rex-sized reader or a well-preserved fossil, you can start tracking your reading today. Log online or pick up a paper tracker at the library.

We're getting the library ready for summer at this month's STEAM Meetup!🧑‍🌾
Kids 10+ can join us at 10 am on Friday to help build raised beds. Plus, younger learners can exercise their creativity at Creation Station.

Maizie is at it again. She has now read 600 books in our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program.

She especially loves the Fly Guy series by Tedd Arnold, and it’s easy to see why. These books are full of humor, repetition, and playful storytelling that help build early reading confidence.

Reading together, laughing at the stories, and recognizing familiar words are all part of how young readers grow. Maizie is a great example of how fun reading can be at this stage.

Keep it up, Maizie. You’re more than halfway to 1,000.
