**Start Your Career After Graduation**

**Become an E911 Dispatcher**

The Glacier County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for dependable and motivated people to join our E911 dispatch team.

Dispatchers are the first point of contact when someone calls for help. Whether it’s a medical emergency, a fire, a crash, or someone needing law enforcement, dispatchers play a critical role in helping keep our communities safe.

For graduating seniors, this can be an opportunity to step directly into a meaningful career after high school. You can begin earning a steady paycheck right away while learning valuable skills and serving your community.

This position offers:

* Competitive pay and benefits
* Paid training
* A professional career with room for advancement
* The opportunity to work closely with law enforcement, EMS, and fire personnel
* A chance to make a real difference every day

We are looking for people who are responsible, able to stay calm under pressure, and willing to learn. No prior dispatch experience is required.

This career is not for everyone, but for the right person it can be extremely rewarding.

If you are interested in becoming part of a team that helps people during some of the most important moments of their lives, we encourage you to apply.

***PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT***

As we all prepare for this wind and snow storm, lets remember to use a little common sense. We should be at the stores right now preparing for this. We should have our vehicles full of fuel and our firewood stacked and ready. Once the storm hits, there should be no reason to be out driving around in it. Remember, most of the emergency responders drive the same kind of vehicles we all do. They are not magical machines that can traverse any terrain. If you decide to go drive around in a blizzard and get yourself stuck, it may be hours before someone can get to you. Also...if you drive a semi-tractor trailer, do us all a favor and stay off Highway 89 during the wind storm. Please.
