Battles are won within

Once a month, our Future Marines come together for comradery, teamwork and a maintenance of commitment to this organization. Preparation is key in developing these Future Marines to become successful in recruit training and their career within the Marine Corps.

This month’s pool function consisted of a supply run with simulations of multiple causalities along the way. Moving from point A to Point B might seem like a walk in the park until things go sideways. It’s extremely important to prepare these young men and women to adapt and overcome in any situation that comes their way.

At some point, life is going to punch you in the face. The question is, are you going to stay down after getting hit? The Marine Corps is designed to instill a no-quit mentality and to push forward when life’s struggles are elevated.

If you want to develop the mental and physical strength to achieve a version of yourself you did not think was possible, RSS Perrine is who you need to contact!

The Future Marines of RSS Perrine conducting their monthly Initial Strength Test. This test consists of a 1.5 mile run, max pull-ups and a 2:00 plank. One of the main purposes of the Delayed Entry Program is to ensure that Future Marines can successfully complete this test and ship to recruit training.

Even the dog at the end was impressed by the aggression and determination of these Future Marines.
