Leadership Akron announced it's 43rd Signature Class this week and our very own Amy Kelly-Lancki will join a group of 40 leaders in the community who will begin a ten-month experience designed to deepen their understanding of Greater Akron, strengthen meaningful connections, and prepare them to lead with greater context, empathy, and community awareness. Congratulations Amy, we know you will represent Summit DD well and continue to make meaningful connections in the community that will improve community access for those we serve!

Leadership Akron is proud to welcome Signature Class 43. 🎉

This year’s class brings together 40 leaders from across business, nonprofit, government, education, healthcare, philanthropy, arts and culture, and community development. Together, they will begin a ten-month experience designed to deepen their understanding of Greater Akron, build meaningful connections across sectors, and consider how their leadership can serve the community for the long haul.

“Signature is one of the most meaningful ways leaders can come to know Greater Akron and one another,” said Justin Hilton, President and CEO of Leadership Akron. “Class 43 represents a wide range of experiences, industries, and perspectives. As they move through this year together, they will be invited to listen deeply, think differently, and consider how their leadership can serve the community for the long haul.”

Join us in welcoming Class 43!

What an amazing way for people of all abilities to access our great parks!

For , we’re highlighting the new all-terrain wheelchair lending program that the Conservancy for CVNP has launched with support from Open Trail Collective. The self-propelled chair uses a lever-powered system and mountain bike components to roll over roots, rocks, gravel, mud, and most natural surfaces. The program expands trail access for visitors with disabilities, injuries, and mobility challenges.
