Great news from the Cuyahoga Falls business community!

Grateful for a quick and coordinated response.

This morning Cuyahoga Falls Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Barnes Avenue. Cuyahoga Falls Firefighters transported one patient to a local hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Akron Fire Department, Tallmadge Fire Department, Stow Fire Department, and Munroe Falls Fire Department for their assistance and teamwork in helping mitigate the incident.

Your professionalism, dedication, and mutual aid support are greatly appreciated and continue to demonstrate the strength of our fire service community.

We extend our thoughts and support to all those impacted by today’s fire.❤️🚒

Stay safe. Call emergency services for wires down.

Update: No ETA on outages, but some areas were just restored. CF electric crews have hit their 12 hour mark and some must cycle their down time to be able to return and continue safely. Tree companies are currently compiling waiting lists for residents that need tree removals.

There are currently trees down all over the city, some blocking roads and unfortunately, some large trees and limbs have damaged homes. The earlier power outages have been repaired, but new calls are still coming in. All electric crews are working on repairs and will continue into the night until completed. Please use extreme caution if you are outside or driving.
