The Planning Commission, under the mandates of KRS 100 Kentucky Statutes, is the planning agency for Harrison County and municipalities therein. It is led by appointed citizens and serves all citizens of Harrison County by providing a vision for improving the quality of life. The Planning Commission and its staff serve as agents to promote and coordinate the involvement of all citizens within Harr

ison County in comprehensive planning, public participation, growth management and environmental protection. The Planning Commission monitors the implementation of planning efforts and encourages innovation and creativity in achieving the Vision.
