Funeral Procession for Deputy Mike Jimerson – Public Notice and Invitation to Pay Respects

The D’Iberville Police Department, along with city leadership, invite members of the public to join us in honoring Deputy Jimerson’s service and sacrifice by standing along the designated procession route.

The procession is scheduled tomorrow April 10th, to depart from the First Baptist Church on Popps Ferry Road between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and will travel along the attached route. We respectfully encourage citizens, community members, and local businesses to line the route to show their support and pay tribute.

City leaders and employees will be present along the route, and we welcome all who wish to stand in solidarity with Deputy Jimerson’s family, friends, and fellow officers during this time.
Parking will be available in the grassy lot located south of City Hall for those wishing to gather in a central location.

Deputy Jimerson served his community with dedication and honor. This procession provides an opportunity for the community to come together and reflect that same respect in return.
