Re-entering flooded areas:
Please use caution when returning to affected areas.
• Do not drive around barricades.
• Avoid roads that are damaged or still covered by water.
• Watch for displaced wildlife and other hazards.
If your property was damaged:
• Take photos and make a detailed list of damages before beginning cleanup.
• Report damages online to help local governments and nonprofit organizations assess needs and coordinate assistance:

If you have insurance coverage, contact your insurance company as soon as possible to begin the claims process.

🚨 FLOOD EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE 🚨
If you or someone you know is trapped by floodwaters, unable to leave safely, or in immediate need of rescue assistance, the Cajun Navy is accepting rescue requests.

Please do not attempt to drive through flooded roadways. Turn around, don’t drown.
If you know of elderly individuals, disabled persons, or families who may not have access to social media, please help share this information with them.

☀️ FREE SUMMER MEALS ARE BACK! 🍎🥪

No child should go hungry during summer break. The Harrison & Jackson County is once again offering FREE breakfast and lunch for all children and teens 18 & under this summer. ❤️

📍 Multiple locations across Harrison & Jackson County

📅 Begins June 2

⏰ Monday–Friday
🥞 Breakfast: 7:30–9:30 AM
🍽 Lunch: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM

Families can choose from dine-in or grab-and-go options at select locations. No registration or proof of income is required. Please help spread the word so every family who may need this knows meals are available. 🙌
