Do you enjoy working with youth and want to make a positive impact in your community? Tallapoosa County is looking for an Alabama 4-H AmeriCorps Educator, and we are excited to be one of only 10 sites statewide selected to host this position!

As a 4-H AmeriCorps member, you'll help bring hands-on learning experiences to youth in grades 4-12 through programs focused on:

Whether you've never threaded a needle or just need a refresher, our Basics of Sewing classes are designed to help you gain confidence and learn practical skills you can use at home.

You'll learn:

βœ… Button and hole repairs
βœ… Hemming
βœ… Elastic waistbands
βœ… Sewing machine basics
