CAFES Ottawa hosts a free public event, Green Fair Ottawa: Innovation and EV Showcase, taking place on Saturday, June 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre, 200 Coventry Rd.

Green Fair Ottawa is a fun, family-friendly one-day public event uniting sustainability innovators, local vendors, and Ottawa residents to explore practical solutions for sustainable living.

With EV and e-bike test drives, kid-friendly activities, workshops, and food trucks amongst other things, this event is sure to be a very fun experience for all attendees.

Save your empties for a good cause! To help recycle alcohol containers, social enterprise BottleWorks is coming to New Edinburgh every month to collect empties. A charitable initiative, BottleWorks employs youth who face barriers to employment.

What: Recycling of alcohol containers, such as wine and beer bottles or cans
When: Sat. June 13, 1:00-4:00 pm and every second Saturday of each month
Where: New Edinburgh Fieldhouse, 203 Stanley Ave.

Conservez vos bouteilles vides pour une bonne cause ! Afin de faciliter le recyclage des contenants d'alcool, l'entreprise sociale BottleWorks se rendra chaque mois à New Edinburgh pour collecter les bouteilles vides. Initiative caritative, BottleWorks emploie des jeunes confrontés à des obstacles à l'emploi.
