You can find NEW T-shirts for adults and children, caps, mugs, snacks, drinks, and way too much more to list at the store! 🦝 NWD Skins and Skulls: Enjoy an up close, and safe, experience with some of the park's wildlife!

🗑 Hike and Paddle Cleanup: Help keep the park beautiful! All ages are welcome for hike/land trash pickup. Must be 16+ to participate in water cleanup. Kayaks are first come, first serve starting at 9:00 a.m.

🌝 Marvel at the Moon: Be a part of International Observe the Moon Night by joining us for telescope viewing and activities!

📱 NPLD iNat BioBlitz: Bring your phone for this species ID frenzy! Learn to use iNat and submit species that are all collected for conservation science!

🦅 Hawk Watch: Witness the epic hawk migration over the park! We have the potential to see thousands in one day! Ends at 2p if slow, ends at 5p if active.

🐦 Bird Craft: Make pinecone feeders to help fall migratory birds or save it for winter!

Meet one of Daingerfield State Park’s cutest little diggers! 🤎

Three fun facts about armadillos:
🦗 They can eat hundreds of insects in a single night, making them nature’s pest control.
👃 Their eyesight isn’t very good, so they rely on an excellent sense of smell to find food.
🏃 When startled, they can jump straight up 3–4 feet into the air before running away!
