"There is another high calling and that is serving one’s fellow citizen," Cole said. "I'm especially proud of how our military community continually steps up to assist their own and others. These volunteers among you do not wear superhero capes, but their impact is nothing short of superhuman."

Leaders from the Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Rucker joined Corvias Property Management for a Munson Heights walking town hall May 27.

Residents were encouraged to meet with the leadership team and share feedback about life on post. Families highlighted positives such as neighborhood swimming pools, the high-quality elementary school, responsive maintenance teams and playgrounds, while also discussing concerns including carpet repairs, shade for play areas and air conditioning issues during the hotter months. Leadership addressed feedback on the spot, and follow-up appointments were scheduled where needed.

Walking town halls rotate quarterly through each on-post neighborhood and provide leaders with a front porch view of where Soldiers and families call home.

Thank you to everyone who came out and shared feedback with the team. Your input is invaluable and helps keep Fort Rucker Above the Best!
