Talk of the Town Tuesday!

The Annual Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony on September 11th is quickly approaching and we encourage all that are able to attend to please join us. This event will be held at Southeast Community Training Center, 195 U S Highway 84 West in Daleville (next to Center Drugs).

As we gather to commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we will honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as all those whose lives were forever changed on that fateful day.

A 2, 977 American flag display, prayer, reflection, passing of the torch, patriotic music, and a public safety flyover will take place. The event should take no more than 30 minutes, but will be impactful.

Placing the 2, 977 American flags will take place on September 10th at 4 pm and community members are welcome to assist in placing flags in honor of those who lost their life on September 11, 2001.

Their mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease and stroke. They support the American Heart Association mission and goals through administrative, educational, and quality assurance.
