The MSDAA is organized as a non-profit organization exclusively for charitable, educational, advocacy, and social purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. This organization established in 1854, is committed to continuing that tradition through contact with its many members and associates. This organization preserves and increases the influence and prestige of s

chool as an institution of higher education for Deaf people. This organization promotes those concerns that affect the welfare of Deaf people in general, especially those associated with education. This organization perpetuates the friendships formed furin school life and promotes social and fraternal relations among Alumni of different school generations.
