MSBOC has been made aware of fraudulent emails claiming to be from our agency regarding an individual's contractor license.

These messages did not originate from our office. Some scam emails may appear legitimate by displaying what looks like MSBOC's email address, website or other official contact information.

If you receive an unexpected email claiming to be from MSBOC:
• Do not click any links.
• Do not reply to the message.
• Do not provide personal or financial information.
• Contact MSBOC directly if you have questions about your contractor license.

If you receive one of these messages, please delete it and report it as spam through your mobile carrier.

MSBOC takes the security of our licensees and the public seriously. Thank you to those who have alerted us to this scam. By staying vigilant and reporting suspicious messages, you can help protect Mississippi's contractor community.
