What an incredible evening at ’ Pathways to Possibility event in recognition of Foster Care Awareness Month!

Hosted at , the event brought together community members to learn, connect, and raise awareness about the foster care system. Attendees were inspired by the heartfelt perspectives of a foster parent pursuing adoption, a young adult who shared their lived experience in foster care, and the impact of Greater Than Expectations’ programs and support services.

We were also honored to celebrate our scholarship recipient and grateful for the opportunity to raise funds that will help us continue creating pathways to success for youth and young adults.

The 2026 Jokes & Jazz event hosted by the of Jack and Jill was truly an amazing experience filled with laughter, great music, and community spirit. Greater Than Expectations was honored to be one of the beneficiaries of this incredible event. We are deeply grateful for their belief in our mission and their continued support of our programs. Our 2nd Annual Holiday Soirée with and the was filled with holiday cheer, great food, joyful fellowship, and plenty of festive spirit. It was a wonderful way to bring together supporters and students from both organizations as we celebrated the season and closed out the year with a bang.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it! was truly blessed by this holiday season. Our students were shown incredible love through shopping, a gospel concert, impactful panel discussions, and life-changing gifts—including driver’s education, self-care experiences, rent assistance, MacBooks, and so much more. To top it all off, United Megacare surprised our organization with a $5,000 donation to continue the work we do. Thank you, United Megacare, for pouring into our students and believing in our mission.
