Dear Anne Frank Elementary Scribes,
As the hallways grow quiet and the sun begins to signal the start of summer, we find ourselves reflecting on a truly remarkable school year. Just as our school’s namesake taught us the power of hope and the beauty of a resilient spirit, our students have spent the last ten months showing us exactly what it means to grow, to learn, and to "be kind and have courage."
Celebrating Our Successes
This year was filled with milestones that would have made any community proud. Culture trunks, literacy night, STEAM night, and various campus activities, your children have pushed boundaries and supported one another with empathy.
We saw firsthand that even small actions—a shared book, a helping hand on the playground, or a thoughtful question in class—contribute to the "noble character" Anne Frank wrote about.

While summer is a time for rest and exploration, we are already buzzing with excitement for the upcoming school year. Here is a brief look at what’s on the horizon:

To our parents and guardians: thank you. Your partnership is the heartbeat of this school. Whether you volunteered for a field trip, helped with homework, or simply cheered from the sidelines, you made this year a success.
We wish you a summer filled with laughter, safety, and perhaps a few good books. We can’t wait to see those smiling faces back in our halls this August.

A medida que los pasillos se vuelven silenciosos y el sol comienza a señalar el inicio del verano, nos encontramos reflexionando sobre un año escolar verdaderamente extraordinario. Tal como la persona que da nombre a nuestra escuela nos enseñó sobre el poder de la esperanza y la belleza de un espíritu resiliente, nuestros estudiantes han pasado los últimos diez meses demostrándonos exactamente lo que significa crecer, aprender y "ser amables y tener valor".
Celebrando Nuestros Éxitos
Este año estuvo lleno de hitos que enorgullecerían a cualquier comunidad. Desde los baúles culturales, la noche de alfabetización, la noche de STEAM y diversas actividades en el plantel, sus hijos han superado límites y se han apoyado mutuamente con empatía.
Fuimos testigos de que incluso las acciones pequeñas —un libro compartido, una mano amiga en el patio de recreo o una pregunta reflexiva en clase— contribuyen al "carácter noble" sobre el cual escribió Ana Frank.
Mirando hacia el futuro: 2026-2027
Aunque el verano es un tiempo para el descanso y la exploración, ya estamos entusiasmados por el próximo año escolar. Aquí tienen un breve vistazo de lo que se vislumbra en el horizonte:

Un Agradecimiento Sincero
A nuestros padres y tutores: gracias. Su colaboración es el latido de esta escuela. Ya sea que hayan sido voluntarios en una excursión, ayudado con la tarea o simplemente animado desde afuera, ustedes hicieron de este año un éxito.
Les deseamos un verano lleno de risas, seguridad y, tal vez, algunos buenos libros. Estamos ansiosos por ver esas caras sonrientes de nuevo en nuestros pasillos este agosto.
