Our Society, Inc. A brotherhood of Black men (aged 18-29 years) engaged in personal and social maximization, preparing to be the new generation of revolutionary leadership.

In its present phase, Our Society, Inc. is a brotherhood of Black men (aged 18-29 years) engaged in personal and social maximization, preparing to be the new generation of revolutionary leadership. The target audience for this phase is aspiring and emerging leaders. The men of Our Society, Inc.(OSI) are maximizing the "self" and preparing for revolutionary leadership in their communities. They are

the next generation of leadership in the African-American community. Gathering with like-minded brothers, the men of Our Society, Inc. are also enlarging their personal and professional networks as well as forming a lifelong brotherhood with one each other. To reach its ends of personal and community maximization, Our Society, Inc. engages in weekly Knowledge & Application (K&A) Sessions. During these sessions, OSI men are equipped and empowered through knowledge reception and project development, resulting in personal and community well-being and maximzation. Our Society, Inc builds its foundation on the following underpinnings:
1. Judeo-Christian Philosophies and Sacred Texts
2. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
3. Decree
4. A Phase Approach
5. Maxims/Leaders' Values
6. Projects

Mentors are great accelerators of success. Mentors provide you with years of experience and expertise you didn't have to work for! You can stand on their shoulders! Do you have mentors?

Success is produced from and sustained by stability.

YOU are the change this world needs!

One person has the power to effect change in a system. Be the ONE!

When God has given you something to do, if at first you don't succeed, try and try until you do succeed!

It's not about where you've been, IT'S ABOUT WHERE YOU'RE GOING! The testimonies of great men and women who came from nothing are proof of this!

Persistence is key!

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." -Gal. 6:9

Good planning leads to good success! Ask God for a plan to reach your goals, then be diligent to implement it!

"In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight." --Proverbs 3:6
"The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty."--Proverbs 21:5

The wonderful thing about the past is that it has passed! You can use the present to sculpt a brighter future! Your past is not your end, in Jesus' Name! You're still alive!

You can be the one that turns the tide! You can be the turning point for future generations! You may be the "Abraham" of your family, your generation! YOU can be the game changer! Persist! Stay consistent! Keep doing good!

For Men with an Upwardly Mobile Mentality

A brotherhood of Black men (aged 18-29 years) engaged in personal and social maximization, preparing to be the new generation of revolutionary leadership.

PERSISTENCE pays off! Persist!

Waste nothing, maximize everything. Waste no words, no money, no time, no resources. Waste nothing, maximize everything.

Want more out of life, but don't know where to begin? Don't know how to make goals, much less make plans for reaching them? A wise man said, "In all your ways acknowledge Him (God), and He shall direct your paths!" (Proverbs 3:6)

You have goals, but do you have a plan?

Beware distraction. Distraction has a way of ensuring you never accomplish your goals on time. And if you keep entertaining it, you may never accomplish your goals at all. Stay focused!

Consistency is KEY! STAY CONSISTENT!

YOU have the power to change your story!

Greatness doesn't happen overnight. It takes time. Are you willing to take the time, make the plans, and go through the processes necessary for GREATNESS to come out of you?

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. -James 1:4

Success requires patience!

People who want attention, talk about what they are going to do. People who want results, just do it.

Reasons why you never see an abundant harvest or fail to see great success, even after planting the seed/starting the journey:
1.) You are not consistent or persistent. Stick with the plan (unless GOD changes it up), come "hell or high water." (Prov. 10:4; Heb. 6:2)
2.) You made poor, unwise plans because you failed to consult the right people or access the right information. (Prov. 15:22)
3.) You don't have a plan. (Prov. 21:5)

God wants to give you good things, but there is something you must do.

Setting a daily schedule will help you see where your priorities are and help discourage wasted time. Setting a budget does the same for your finances.

Time is something that you never get back. How can you prioritize your life so that you can make the most of your time? How can you make plans to save time in the future so that you can "buy back" some of the time you wasted in the past? How can you honor God with your time?

God has greater for you! Look beyond your present circumstances! There is more He has for you! May He give you a vision of the future!!

A maximized man will maximize everything around him. We need more maximized men!!

Don't go to the grave with any unused, positive potential: it benefits no one there.

Order, organization, and good stewardship are all necessary for the maximal glorification of God and the maximal benefit from the resources He gives us to use.

"The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty." -Proverbs 21:5

Trees that are trying to grow have to have those branches that are not growing with it pruned and cut off. Same thing in life. The people, habits, and behaviors that are "dead weight" have to be pruned from your life. Some things are going to have to go if you want to grow.
