Gaston County Cattlemen's Association, 1303 Dallas-Cherryville Highway, Dallas, NC (2026)

We meet the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm at the Gaston County Cooperative Extension Office located at 1303 Dallas-Cherryville Highway, Dallas, NC 28034. Our meetings include Cattlemen's Association business and a presentation by a commercial cattle industry vendor or producer that provides pertinent information concerning pasture management, good feed practices, medications, cattle management, etc.

If you weren’t at last night’s Gaston Cattlemen’s meeting, you missed a good one!

Johnson Aerospray put on an engaging, educational, and just plain impressive demonstration of his drone sprayer. We really appreciate Brinton taking time out of his busy schedule to share his expertise and give us a firsthand look at what this technology can do.

And let’s be honest…watching a drone work is a whole lot more interesting than watching a farmer spray a field. 😉

The videos and pictures do not do this demonstration justice. Seeing the drone in action—and learning about the potential applications—was definitely worth being there in person.

A big THANK YOU to Johnson Aerospray for an excellent demonstration and to everyone who came out and made the meeting a success!

Also, THANK YOU to our current president, Joe Lineberger, for hosting us at your farm.
