Thank you to everyone that came out to the cleanup at Watercrest Park today! We had a great showing and the Lake Highlands National Charity League joined us as well.
We walked along the newest part of the Lake Highlands Trail towards the Skillman bridge and found lots of areas where plastic bottles had washed up from the creek the last time it flooded. We were glad we had the wagon with us since we found so much trash in this small area.

Had a wonderful time this past Sunday at the Sundays in the Park event at the Lake Highlands Town Center.
I spoke with a number of Lake Highlands residents and heard about what’s on their minds. The top concerns I heard were public safety, addressing homelessness, affordable housing, stopping panhandling, and cleaning up our parks and trails. These are my concerns as well and I have the experience at City Hall to address them on Day one!
What are your biggest concerns?
I’m running for City Council D10 in 2023 and need your help. I’m running to make government more accountable, transparent, effective, and efficient. Join me or share your concerns at

The election is less than 1 year away and I want to represent the resident of District 10 at city hall. I hope you will join me and help support my campaign by volunteering, endorsing me, or donating:

It's never too early to hear from residents about what issues affect YOU and what changes YOU want to see at City Hall. After all, the Government at all levels needs to be accountable to the people that pay the bills – YOU the taxpayer!

Thank you to Councilman McGough and the budget team for hosting a budget town hall this evening at the Lake Highland North Recreation Center.
I agreed with fellow citizens like Patti Clapp on the needs for a focus on increasing library hours, programming, and budgets.
What are your priorities for the City of Dallas and Lake Highlands?
Mine? A few of them are enhancing public safety, parks and libraries, making Dallas greener and cleaner, affordable housing, workforce and economic development, and reducing homeless encampments.
Campaign finance deadline for Q1 is today. Can you pitch in $25, $50 or the max of $1,000 to help make Lake Highlands a safer, greener, and cleaner neighborhood?
