Welcome Our Security Guard, Matthew Bolack!

Matthew Bolack is a proud RISD alumnus, having attended RISD schools and graduated from Berkner High School. He earned his degree from Texas Tech University and spent 30 years in the semiconductor industry. Education is a family tradition, as his mother retired from RISD and his wife, Lauren, is also an RISD employee.

Matthew and Lauren have two sons: Jadon, a Berkner graduate studying engineering at the University of Kansas, and Conner, a junior at Richardson High School and a member of the football team. They also share their home with two German Shepherds.

In his free time, Matthew enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, and spending time on the water. He is also a car enthusiast and enjoys attending car shows with his restored 1967 Firebird.

Matthew is excited to join the LHE community and support the RISD vision. We are thrilled to welcome him to our campus!

A huge THANK YOU to all the parents, guardians, and family members who came out last night. The energy in the building was wonderful, and seeing our hallways filled with such dedicated, caring faces sets the best tone for the year ahead.
