"I Have A Dream" Foundation- Dallas I Have A Dream Foundation-Dallas motivates inner-city children to graduate from high school, pursue higher education and become productive members of the community.

The Foundation takes a personal interest in the lives of elementary and secondary students, facilitating their development by providing mentors, role models, educational opportunities and recreational programs they may otherwise be denied. High School Graduates are further aided in their pursuit of higher education by the Foundation’s assistance in locating and obtaining academic resources vital to their success.

• In May 1970, he became the first player in baseball to record 500 homers and 3,000 hits. He is best known, for breaking Babe Ruth’s record of 714 career home runs. When he retired in 1976, he left the game with 755 career home runs, a record that stood until August 7, 2007, when it was broken by Barry Bonds of the San Francisco Giants. After retiring as a player, he became one of baseball’s first Black executives, with the Atlanta Braves. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. Mr. Hank Aaron died on January 22, 2021 at age 86. He would have celebrated his 87th birthday today.
