Lyle Staff Shoutouts

We’re inviting families to help us recognize the staff members who make a difference for our students every day. If someone has impacted your child or family, we want to hear about it.

Today’s Staff Shoutout: Mrs. Reimer

A parent shared that Mrs. Reimer “always has a genuine smile on her face, one that reaches her eyes.”

They described her as someone who is patient with students while also knowing when to push them to exceed expectations. Beyond that, Mrs. Reimer takes the time to know her students personally, asking about their weekends, family members, and sporting events.

That connection matters.

The parent shared, “My son feels known and loved, especially on days he has PE.” They also shared that he feels free to be himself and use his energy in positive ways.

Helping students feel seen, valued, and successful is the kind of impact that lasts far beyond the classroom.

Lyle Elementary Awesome Award

Today we are excited to recognize Brayden with an Awesome Award for his outstanding work ethic and positive attitude at Lyle Elementary!

Brayden comes to school each day ready to learn and give his best effort. He consistently shows focus, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic in all that he does. His dedication to learning and willingness to work hard make him a great role model for his peers.

Brayden’s positive attitude and effort help create a classroom environment where everyone can learn and grow. The example he sets through his hard work and enthusiasm helps make Lyle a great place to learn.

Thank you, Brayden, for being an amazing example of focus, effort, and leadership. We are proud of you!

Today’s Staff Shoutout: Mrs. Kary

A parent shared that Mrs. Kary “set the foundation” for their daughter’s start at school during a time that initially felt confusing and uncertain.

After stepping into a teaching position after the school year had already begun, Mrs. Kary helped bring stability and comfort to the classroom. The parent shared that their daughter “was confused why her teacher kept changing,” but once Mrs. Kary arrived, “she loved school after that.”

That impact extended beyond the student. The parent shared that Mrs. Kary has been “an amazing teacher not just to my student but the class,” and that volunteering in the classroom has made the experience even more meaningful for their family.

They also wrote, “It has made my process of my student growing up so much easier knowing she is with a loving and caring person. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better teacher our first year at Lyle.”

That kind of care and consistency can shape a child’s entire experience with school.
