#Reminder: Celebratory gunfire can cause serious bodily injury and even time in jail. Discharging a firearm within the city limits of Dallas is punishable by fines up to $4000 and up to a year in jail. New Year’s Eve seems to be the time people like to bring in the year with a bang! But remember discharging a firearm in the air can be extremely dangerous. Stray bullets kill dozens of people annually. A bullet fired in the air can travel up to 2 miles before falling back down at a speed between 300 and 700 feet per second, fast enough to kill . #StopCelebratoryGunfire

Please let me know how Mary Alex is, I love her so much
Here is a copy of the email I just sent the mayor and city council members. Honorable Mayor Johnson and city council members, It has come to my attention that you will be voting on Wednesday, September 9th, to defund the police. Let me be extremely blunt. Have you all lost your mind? What you are voting on is NOT what the majority of citizens in Dallas want done. New York City has defunded the police and violent crime (homicide, rape, aggravated assault) have increased by 300% since the defunding. Portland, Oregon, as we all know, is on its 101st day of violent riots including deaths and massive loss of property. Minneapolis has had to have massive federal help to get out from under the lawlessness and riots that occurred there. If you decide to defund the police, you can be assured of massive increases here in violent crime. We have been fighting and dealing with increased homicide rates. You want more? Really?!? What about increased rapes? Increase in people being assaulted? Robbed? No?!? Then DO NOT VOTE FOR DEFUNDING THE POLICE!!!! The budget is messed up because you, each and every one of you, have screwed with the city too much. You want to defund something? Try your pay. No? Why? Every single one of you council members are making almost TWICE as much as the average citizen in Dallas. What makes you think that you deserve to have that amount AND defund the police? Please get on EVERY news source and justify your salary and expense accounts. Explain to all of us why you believe you are worth your pay but the police are not worth their pay. Also, explain why the assistant city managers and city manager deserves so HUGE a pay. City manager getting paid almost $500,000 a year. Defund him and the assistant city managers. You don't want to take away from yourself - take away from them. They are not doing ANYTHING to help protect the citizens. None of us see any of you out helping to stop violent or non-violent crimes. None of us see you putting your lives on the line. None of us see you, on a daily basis, coming to the victims of crimes. None of us see you, on a daily basis, coming to console a family member who has lost someone to a homicide, or family member of rape, or domestic abuse, or child abuse, or child kidnapping, or anything else. DO NOT DEFUND THE POLICE!!! You want the budget fixed? Either defund your own pay or defund the pay of the massive overpayment of the assistant city managers and city manager.

Thank you for your service back the blue
I would like to say thank you to the officers who are working with such horrible conditions and still manage to go to work everyday. I pray for their safety and that they return home to their families. I want to do something, to let them know how much I appreciate their service and that most understand that not all cops are bad. Thank you for putting your life on the line so that our families are safe. Please know that you are appreciated, respected and needed. 💙💙💙BLUE!💙💙💙

Dallas Police Department - Northeast Division Hi, can you answer why Dallas PD Officers shot rubber bullets and tear gas, something that is banned in warfare, into a peaceful crowd that were on their knees screaming "hands up, don't shoot?"
Thanks Northeast...
