On Saturday, June 6th, Art Quest, a community scavenger hunt-style art discovery program presented by the nonprofit art organization AURORA, kicks off in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood! Join us for this event that offers a unique and FUN opportunity to win a work of art by artist Hermila Cuevas!
🗓 Date: Saturday, June 6th | 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

How to Participate:
5–5:50 pm: AURORA has partnered with Los Primos, Trinity River Audubon Center, and Gallery 86 to kick off the evening with a community gathering. This year, Art Quest introduces a new theatrical element in collaboration with Teatro Dallas. At 6:00 pm, Teatro Dallas will perform to reveal the first clue.
6–7:30 pm: Participants will follow the clues to find Art Quest clue cards hidden throughout the neighborhood. The first participant to collect and present all clue cards will win a sculpture by Hermila Cuevas.
7:30–9 pm: The community celebration continues with local partners, art activities, music, and free food and drinks.

El Sabado 6 de junio comienza en el barrio de Pleasant Grove Art Quest, un programa comunitario de descubrimiento artístico al estilo de una búsqueda del tesoro, presentado por la organización artística sin fines de lucro AURORA. District 5 Residents: We Want to Hear From You!
If you are experiencing concerns related to homeless encampments in your neighborhood, we encourage you to submit a report through the City’s 311 system. Community reports play an important role in helping the City identify problem areas and respond to ongoing concerns.
If an encampment has reestablished after cleanup efforts, or if you have submitted a report that remains unresolved, please reach out to our office directly so we can assist with follow-up efforts.

Si tienen alguna inquietud relacionada con los campamentos de personas sin hogar en su barrio, les animamos a que envíen un informe a través del sistema 311 de la ciudad. Los informes de la comunidad desempeñan un role importante a la hora de ayudar a la ciudad a identificar las zonas problemáticas y a dar respuesta a las inquietudes existentes.
Si un campamento se ha vuelto a establecer tras las labores de limpieza, o si ha enviado un informe que sigue sin resolverse, póngase en contacto directamente con nuestra oficina para que podamos ayudarle con las gestiones de seguimiento.

The City of Dallas will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. We honor and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday.
