We are looking for volunteers to interview high school candidates for our Klein Internship program! Since 2009, we've helped teens gain invaluable hands-on experience and now we need your help to ensure they find the right placements.

Volunteer Opportunity: Support Children's Mental Health! 💙

We’re looking for volunteers to help prep our children’s Play Therapy rooms. If you’re passionate about supporting children’s mental health, this is the opportunity for you! Play therapy provides a safe space for kids to navigate anxiety, trauma, and life’s challenges with the guidance of a trained therapist.

Volunteer tasks include:
- Cleaning, restocking, and organizing Play Therapy rooms
- Special projects like building toys or furniture
- Monitoring stock and replacing broken/worn items

Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the six million Jewish lives and millions of others tragically lost during the Holocaust. We reflect on the resilience of survivors, the lessons of history, and our collective responsibility to stand against hatred and injustice.

At JFS Dallas, we remain committed to supporting survivors in our community. Last year, 119 Holocaust Survivors received vital services, including counseling, emergency funds, homecare, socialization programs, and more.

Peanut butter is one of the most popular items in our food pantry, and families love grabbing this versatile pantry staple off the shelves. Did you know there are so many ways to use peanut butter beyond the classic PB&J? From snacks to healthy recipes made with 100% ingredients available in the JFS Food Pantry, the possibilities are endless!

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a time to honor Dr. King’s legacy of service and compassion.
In his honor, our staff and their families came together for a meaningful day of service across DFW. Many JFS team members distributed food in the Food Pantry and delivered kosher meals to homebound individuals. Others joined residents at The Legacy Senior Communities to create cozy fleece blankets, while some volunteered at Operation Kindness to support the animal shelter.
We’re proud of our staff for helping the greater Dallas community every day, and especially today, as we honor Dr. King’s vision by serving our community with care!
