Dolly Parton showed us what it looks like to lead with warmth, humility, humor, and an ability to see the good in people. Through the way she has lived and treated others, she reminds us that kindness and strength are not opposites, and that generosity can be a form of leadership.

May we continue to be inspired by the example she has set—to notice the little things, make others feel seen, use what we have to help where we can, and leave the world a little softer because we were in it.

What a gift and legend … love and prayers from the world

Country music legend Dolly Parton died today. She was not a Dallas fixture. But every time she was here, it was magical. Whether it was the halftime show for the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game in 2023, hosting the ACMs in Frisco, or bringing her stripped-down Halos and Horns tour to the Granada in 2002, North Texas had plenty of memorable Dolly moments.
