HELP THE MUSEUM GET A PARADE-READY ENGINE!

The Dallas Firefighter Museum is looking to enhance its service to the community by participating in Parades throughout the year. We have found a vintage, in great condition Mack Engine Type 19, that has 12 seats in the back for ride-alongs, to purchase for the Museum's collection and serve as our parade-ready engine. The Mack Engine, formerly Dallas Fire Engine 3 housed at Fire Station 3. This engine served Dallas citizens with honor during the olden days, it was a front-line engine. Today it’s back to continue community service by educating the public and participating in parades.

We want to ask if you'd be willing to sponsor and/or donate to support the purchase and painting of this engine. With your help, we can inspire the community with participation in active parades throughout the City of Dallas.

🌟SUPPORT WILEY LUHM IN HIS JOURNEY WITH POST TRANSPLANT LYMPHOMA BY PURCHASING A T-SHIRT🌟

For those that haven't heard, Wiley Luhm, son of Mike and Stephanie Luhm, has been diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma in his brain that was caused by his kidney transplant. Wiley had his first chemo treatment but has many more treatments to go.

My wife and I, along with the guys at 3's on C shift, collaborated with Southern Made Ink to design a shirt for Wiley.
100% of all proceeds from the sale of Wiley's shirt will go to the Luhm Family to help with medical bills and any other expenses that they will incur while on this journey.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Driver Engineer Jimmy Small, who passed away yesterday while off duty. Jimmy had been a dedicated member of Dallas Fire-Rescue since April 19, 2017. The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation.

Jimmy most recently served as a Rescue Driver at Station 52, and his previous assignments included shifts at 11, Engine 46 B Shift, 54 A Shift, Engine 36 A, and 6 A. His passing is a tragic loss for his family, Dallas Fire-Rescue, and the entire Dallas community.

We understand that this loss will impact everyone differently. If you or someone you know needs assistance or simply wishes to talk, please do not hesitate to reach out to the DFR CareNetwork. It's important that we lean on the resources available to us during these difficult times.

Please keep the Smalls family, as well as each other, in your thoughts and prayers.
