This message from Dan Halyburton, PIO, American Red Cross:
The Red Cross is opening a shelter to help over 100 people impacted by the storm that destroyed 16 apartments and left their building without power in Stephenville, Texas.
It is unknown how many people will decide to stay with the Red Cross.

A severe weather threat continues in North Texas so everyone should be prepared for the possibility of more severe weather. Be prepared with your disaster preparedness plan, stay tuned to local media and download the Red Cross Emergency Preparedness app.
Red Cross teams will continue to respond to the needs of the people in North Texas from the Disaster Relief Headquarters set up at the American Red Cross in Fort Worth, Texas.
Anyone who has damage to their home due to the storms is urged to contact the Red Cross Hotline at 1-800-RED-CROSS
