Jewish Voice for Peace Dallas-Fort Worth stands in solidarity with our comrades in UTD Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), now .dallas who have been unjustly suspended by the university for exercising their First Amendment right to protest UTD’s complicity in ongoing genocide.

JVP DFW demands that UTD immediately remove the suspension, reinstate SJP, apologize for violating their own students First Amendment Rights, and divest from genocide, apartheid, and settler colonialism.

🚨ALL EYES ON GAZA🚨

With an impending ground invasion in Gaza City, the occupation deliberately targeted journalists in Gaza including Anas al-Sharif in a calculated assault aimed at silencing Gaza’s voice. The occupation is attempting to sever Gaza’s lifeline to the world by targeting journalists and to isolate Gaza completely.

The Israeli military claimed responsibility for the intentional targeting of Anas.
Before he was martyred, Anas was warning about the impending ground invasion in to Gaza City, calling on the world to take action, so we must take action.

Dallas is answering the call to action to rise up for our martyrs. Join us TUESDAY for a PICKET outside of Dallas Morning News Offices at 3:30 PM to demand accountability for the manufacturing of consent and complicity in the assassination of journalists, and an end to the genocide in Gaza, followed by a vigil honoring the martyred journalists of Gaza at 6:00PM.

The Israeli government has blocked almost all humanitarian aid from entering Gaza since early March. Palestinians have to risk their lives trying to secure food for their families, being shot at by the U.S.-backed GHF at food distribution sites. People are dying from forced starvation, with the vast majority of the population entering the lethal fourth and fifth stages of malnutrition. Infants and children are especially vulnerable to severe malnutrition, and Israel has blocked baby formula from reaching them. This is not a natural disaster—it’s genocide. Take action now!

This Thursday, June 5th at 9AM, we’re calling on our Dallas community to rally outside the Earle Cabell Federal Building in support of Leqaa Kordia.

Leqaa has been unjustly targeted for being Palestinian and for speaking out against the ongoing genocide in Gaza. For months, she’s been detained here in Texas—thousands of miles from her family. Now is the time to show up and let her know she is not alone.

An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us.
We move together. We fight together. We show up together.
