We had a great time celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of Dunkin’ at Crossroads, and an even bigger thank you goes to for presenting a $500 donation to the Paulding Sheriff’s Foundation!

We truly appreciate their generosity and continued support of our community.

And yes… cops at a donut shop. Some opportunities are just too good to pass up.

This week, some members of our public affairs team traveled to the National Information Officers Association (NIOA) Conference and brought home the award for Best Use of Social Media.

The conference brought together some of the best of the best in the public affairs industry. We were honored to be among them this week to learn, share ideas, and network.

We are incredibly thankful for our community, which supports us every single day. Sometimes our posts can be heavy, but we do our best every day to remain relatable and connected with y’all.

9-year-old Chloe has been located. She is safe.

(Original Post) We know many of you received an Alert notification just before 4:00 AM this morning, so we want to provide an update on the search that has been underway overnight.

Just before 9:00 PM Wednesday evening, family members reported that 9-year-old Chloe Day could not be located at her home.

Responding deputies began searching the area and notified detectives, who also responded to assist. The Sheriff’s Office deployed additional resources throughout the night, including multiple K-9 teams and EMA CERT volunteers, as crews continued an extensive search of the surrounding area.

During the investigation, detectives determined that circumstances were met for a unique Alert feature for the Paulding area called the Integrated Public Alert & Warning System (IPAWS).

As of 5:40 AM, Chloe has not been located, and the search remains active.

Chloe Day is a 9-year-old white female with dirty blonde hair. She is approximately 5’0” and 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing black pants, a gray shirt, black Converse shoes, and carrying a green backpack.

A life of dedication and selfless service.

Before beginning his career in public safety, Corporal Mike Webb served our country in the world’s greatest Navy.

Mike began his career with us in 1997 and worked in uniformed patrol for a little more than two decades before moving to Warrants and Civil.

Mike was a founding member of our SWAT team, a highly respected and distinguished group of men and women.

He has an everlasting love for soft drinks—most notably, Mello Yello!

Thank you for everything, Webb. Enjoy your well-earned retirement!

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with Federal Signal was able to showcase the Mustang patrol vehicle at Police Fleet Expo 2026 (PFE) in the Tricounty Upfitters booth at the Daytona Motor Speedway and in Orlando. We would like to thank GTS Contracting LLC again for the purchase of the vehicle and Ford Performance Whipple Supercharger, along with Hardy Family Automotive Group for donating installation and tuning. We would also like to thank Federal Signal and Tricounty Upfitters for the donation of all of the emergency equipment. Special shout out to Whipple Superchargers for the love on their page!

Alright, y’all… it stormed a little last night.

Our deputies are out responding to calls of trees down. We’ve already handled 10 of these calls so far this morning, so y’all do us a favor: pack those patience pants.

It’s been said that we have two deaths: the day you die and the day someone says your name for the last time.

On August 17, 2024, we lost one of our own, Deputy Brandon Cunningham, in the line of duty.

This morning, we honored his service by unveiling the new Fallen Deputy Memorial in front of the Sheriff’s Office, with Brandon’s name engraved on it.

It’s a somber reminder of the daily work our brave men and women do each day.

Brandon’s service, memory, and dedication will never be forgotten.
