We are deeply honored to be one of the eight organizations selected to receive a grant from the City of Dallas COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund at The Dallas FoundationThe Dallas Foundation!

As we continue our mission to fight food insecurity and support children and families across Dallas, this generous support helps us extend our impact even further. Thanks to this investment, we’re able to keep delivering meals, hope, and opportunity to those who need it most.

Thank you to The Dallas Foundation and Mayor Eric Johnson for recognizing our work and standing beside us. We’re proud to be in the company of so many dedicated organizations working for a stronger, more compassionate Dallas.

Today, we’re celebrating the eight incredible organizations receiving grants from the City of Dallas COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund at The Dallas Foundation!

These grants represent the thoughtful allocation of the fund’s remaining dollars, originally established to support urgent needs during the height of the pandemic. While the crisis has evolved, these resources continue to make an impact by supporting organizations that serve Dallas residents still facing critical challenges — from housing and food security to healthcare access and more.

The Hunger Busters Jr. Executive Board had the honor of spending an hour with the incredible TianEn Stephenson, and what a powerful session it was!

From leadership gems to real-world advice, TianEn poured into the Jr. Board with wisdom and authenticity. Thank you, TianEn, for helping us take action in believing in ourselves!

This past weekend, our incredible CEO, Dr. Latame Phillips, was honored with the Alpha Legacy Humanitarian Award, presented by the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Xi Tau Lambda Chapter.

Being recognized by such a historic and impactful organization is a true reflection of Dr. Phillips’ heart for service and unwavering dedication to our community. The gala was a beautiful celebration of excellence, leadership, and the power of showing up for others—values he lives out every single day.

We’re beyond proud of this well-deserved recognition. Congratulations, Dr. Phillips! Your passion continues to move us all forward.
