Life High School Oak Cliff We offer strong academics and character training with the convenience of a 4-day school week.

Life School began in 1998 to serve students and families in southern Dallas. It is through the vision of the Founder, Dr. Tom Wilson, that Life School opened its doors with 15 faculty and staff members serving 266 students at the Oak Cliff campus. Since its inception over a decade ago, Life School has experienced substantial increases in enrollment. Testimonies from parents to friends, neighbors, and co-workers have fueled rapid growth. Today, Life School has grown to nine campuses serving several thousand students. Dr. Wilson’s vision was to provide a quality education and give parents an educational choice regardless of a parent’s ability to pay. He envisioned a tuition-free school with the quality of an expensive private school. After enactment of charter school legislation, Dr. Wilson realized that a charter school was the avenue to fulfill this vision. Through the help of friends, educators and other professionals the charter was drafted and approved by the TEA in the spring of 1998, and the doors opened only a few months later in August 1998. The mission of Life School is to develop leaders with life skills through strong academics, character training, and partnerships with parents and the community.

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on how our LSOCS Lions celebrated the rich culture, history, and achievements of the Hispanic community! ❤️

We kicked off the month with students dressing up to celebrate Hispanic culture, continued the fun with trivia questions during our afternoon announcements, and decorated our High School hallway to recognize the incredible achievements and contributions of individuals of Hispanic heritage! 🌎✨

Although Hispanic Heritage Month is ending, our celebration of diversity, culture, and community continues all year long! 💙🦁💛

🦁💙💛 2026 LSOC HOMECOMING! 🏈🔥

ONE PRIDE. ONE LEGACY. ONE LION FAMILY!

What a WEEK to be a LION! 🦁 Our 2026 Life School Oak Cliff Homecoming was truly one for the books, filled with school spirit, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of LION PRIDE! 💙💛

We kicked off the festivities by welcoming our alumni BACK HOME, giving former Lions the opportunity to walk down memory lane, reconnect with familiar faces, and see how much our campus and community have grown! Once a Lion, ALWAYS a Lion! 🦁

Throughout the week, our current students and staff brought the ENERGY with our Homecoming Spirit Week activities! From creative outfits to showing off their Lion Pride, our campus was filled with excitement, laughter, and school spirit!

And what better way to close out Homecoming Week than with a LION VICTORY?! 🏈🔥

🏆 FINAL SCORE: LSOC 55 | WHITESBORO 48

Our Lions fought hard and defended the DEN, securing another victory and advancing to an UNDEFEATED 6-0 RECORD! 💪🏾🦁

A HUGE thank you to our alumni, students, staff, families, and the entire Oak Cliff community for making this Homecoming Week so special! It’s more than just a football game or a week of festivities. It’s about celebrating our history, honoring our legacy, and continuing to build a future that generations of Lions can be proud of!

WE ARE LIONS ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! 🦁🔥💙💛🎉
