Pghs dallas texas Pleasant Grove High School Pleasant Grove High School had a short but happy life span. Its first graduating class was in 1939; its last in 1957.

The school was located at the corner of Lake June Road and Buckner Boulevard in Dallas. Until 1953 it was a part of the Pleasant Grove Independent School District, and in that year it was annexed into the Dallas Independent School District. The school closed in 1957 when a new high school, W.W. Samuell, was opened. The Pleasant Grove High School Alumni Association is an organization for all those

who attended the school. Members meet every two years (odd-numbered years) for an all-class reunion (normally held in October). In even-numbered years a Christmas luncheon is held.
