We just earned our Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid! The Platinum Seal is the highest and most rigorous seal recognition offered by Candid (formerly GuideStar). Fewer than one percent of U.S.-based nonprofits achieve Platinum status in any given year.

Transparency and trust are essential to the work we do and it isn’t a one-time achievement, it’s an ongoing commitment! The Platinum Seal makes it easy for supporters to know that we are a legit, registered and transparent organization and allows the public to explore our work, track our impact and see how their financial contributions create real change for Georgians impacted by an arrest, conviction or incarceration! This designation reflects our commitment to sharing clear, accurate, and up-to-date information about our leadership, mission, programs, impact, and financial stewardship and shows our donors, funders, and community partners that NewLife-Second Chance Outreach, Inc. goes beyond basic reporting to provide the public with detailed information about our mission, programs, finances, governance, and impact.

Therefore, when you donate to us, you can rest assured that your donations are used appropriately, efficiently, effectively, and transparently to accomplish our mission for those we serve throughout the state of Georgia. Thank you for being part of our community and for helping us continue to grow, improve, and serve with integrity.

Reminder! The last day to request and submit an absentee ballot for the June 16th run off election is this Friday, June 5th. Any registered Georgia voter can request an absentee ballot in Georgia. You don’t have to give a reason why you can’t or don't want to vote in person.

Also, don't forget that if you plan on mailing it, the USPS changed its postmark rule which now delays the date of postmark so to ensure that it is postmarked in time, on time and not rejected, don't wait until the 5th to mail it! To be on the safe side, when you do mail it, don't drop it in a blue box or inside mail slot but instead, go to the counter and request a hand stamped postmark so it can be postmarked for that day!

- See the many ways to cast an absentee ballot and what you will need (completing it online is encouraged):
https://georgia.gov/vote-absentee-ballot

- Want to do more than submit an absentee ballot? You can check your voter status, update your address, find a polling place, submit an absentee ballot, locate an absentee ballot drop off box near you, see a sample ballot and more at https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/

Despite requests to learn more about investing and over 40 people registering, attendance was low or non existent. Therefore, we have decided to also enjoy our Sundays by cancelling the remainder of the sessions. We thank those who did attend to learn more about stock investing and congratulate those who have seen profit from the investments made. We wish you all the best on your investing journeys.
