Welcome to the SOC Alumni Bear Cave, the official home of the South Oak Cliff High School Alumni Association. The association was co-founded by the late H. ('85), Anthony Canady ('87), and other fellow SOC Alumni in 2008. This group will be the primary Facebook communication for Alumni meetings and activities for the benefit of South Oak Cliff High School, its students, staff, Alumni, community an

d feeder schools. As of May 10, 2021:

We're heading to Kiest Park for our Annual SOC All-Alumni Picnic -- a day full of connection, celebration, and school pride!

🗓 Saturday, June 6, 2026
⏰ 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 Kiest Park (Kiest Blvd Entrance)

Bring your classmates, your energy, and your appetite for a fun-filled afternoon as we reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate our alma mater together.

We’re also calling on each class to step up for our $100 Class Donation Challenge! Your contributions will help cover essential event costs, including hiring three Dallas Marshals and securing 3–4 porta-potties (required by park reservation guidelines).

💡 Bonus: Classes that donate by Friday, May 22 will receive a CUSTOMIZED yard sign to proudly display in your class area at the picnic, recognizing your support and commitment to keeping this tradition alive.

Let’s make this year’s picnic bigger, better, and more memorable than ever.
