We loved having students from Gaston Early College High School volunteer with us today!

They jumped right in, worked hard, and helped us get so much accomplished. It always means so much to see young people giving their time to serve others in their community.

**One NEW family every 10 minutes**

From August 1–18, our food program was open for a total of only 15 hours.

In those 15 hours, we served 94 families who had NEVER received food assistance from us before.

Not repeat visits.
Not the same families.
94 brand-new households.

That is one new family for approximately every 10 minutes we were open.

The need is growing—and it is closer to home than many people realize.
