This group of dedicated volunteers helped pack this box of food which marked our 1,000,000 pounds of food collected and shared so far this year!

There are many more volunteers that have worked to make this milestone happen, we want to thank everyone for their hard work.

It’s a very late night 4th of July holiday purge. The stores closed at 9:00, and then we had to bring it back to the Cedar Springs Boys and Girls Club and assemble over 100 boxes.

This can only be accomplished because of the dedication of volunteers that donate their time.

On Friday June 5th GYFTS was joined by a great group of volunteers from Deloitte to help sort and distribute 90 boxes of food to families and over 10,000 lbs of shelf stable food to smaller agencies from 3 counties.

Recently at the Texas state convention of the Sons of the American Revolution, Scot MacRae was honored for his leadership of the GYFTS program.
The SAR organization gave him a silver Citizenship Medal and certificate for the accomplishment of GYFTS sharing 1.6 million pounds of food last year.
