Our hearts have been breaking as we've seen the recent images coming out of Afghanistan. Many of our Afghan neighbors are worried about their loved ones who are trying to flee danger and others who cannot escape. We are trying to care for them the best we can.
The information we're hearing suggests there will likely be several hundred vulnerable Afghans coming to DFW in the near future. They will need our support when they arrive. We are eager to provide the help they will need when they get to Dallas.
The NCC is currently formulating a strategy to assist these incoming Afghans. If you, your family, your friends, or your small group want to help lead a project or help as we support Afghans, reach out to us at [email protected]. Thank you for loving your neighbor.
