Candidate Cheyenne Philson is the woman America needs. Cheyenne was born biracial, and raised with wholesome Christian values. She has worked hard all of her life to achieve high academic status and receive numerous awards from her community. Cheyenne will restore this country to the city upon the hill with her array of skills and her strict adherence to the constitution. Economy: As our country s
till struggles to get back on our feet after the recession, certain means should be taken to support and maintain economic success. Social Welfare should be decreased. Welfare was originally created for the disabled, elderly, and single mothers
it is now being highly abused, there should be more requirements and it should go back to stamps. We need to implement flat taxes and create jobs by discontinuing outsourcing. Changes to the corporate tax are necessary. There is no need for bailouts in support of large corporations. The support of small businesses needs to be returned to this country. In the constitution it reads, “The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States. Based upon these powers granted, it is up to the national government to establish these changes. All other economic issues that do not fit within these boundaries shall be left to the states to decide upon.”
Obamacare: With regard to Obamacare, or national healthcare, the national government should eliminate this unnecessary tax. People should not have to pay for others to have health insurance. This is implementing socialist views and practices into a democratic country. The federal government has the power to regulate commerce among the states, but that power neither includes nor implies the authority to force individuals to purchase particular products, i.e. If it is read to include or imply that authority, then it must surely follow that the federal government may institute a compulsory program for all Americans. The administration argues that an individual’s decision not to purchase health insurance has an effect on health markets nationally, and that such decisions when aggregated have a large effect. But of course the same is true of individuals’ decisions to remain sedentary or eat too many sweets. The mandate cannot be justified, either, under the Constitution’s grant of authority to Congress to make all laws “necessary and proper for carrying” its legitimate powers “into execution.” The mandate is not necessary to execute Obamacare’s insurance regulations. It is necessary only to stop some of their unwanted effects. Obamacare requires insurers to offer the same policies at the same prices to the sick and the healthy alike. Absent a mandate, that regulation will cause insurance premiums to rocket skyward. But regulatory folly cannot itself be a source of additional constitutional authority. Nor can a blunt command to citizens be a “proper” method of executing a regulation. Gun Control: Gun control should not exist. It is clearly laid out in the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution protects the right of individuals to keep and bear arms. The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled that the right vests in individuals, not merely collective militias, while also ruling that the right is not unlimited and does not prohibit all regulation of either fi****ms or similar devices. State and local governments are limited to the same extent as the federal government from infringing this right per the incorporation of the Bill of Rights. While many Americans are concerned about guns in our country after instances like Sandy Hook or the Boston Marathon, a major concern should not be placed upon the legality of guns, but rather the mental health of our citizens. Immigration: Immigration poses a threat upon our country. Because the constitution promises to defend and protect our people, the national government must take action on this issue. Actions that must be taken include strengthening border security and changing the current immigration laws. By making the process streamlined and easier, more immigrants will be able to enter legally. American people do not have to pay for the illegals and businesses should be held accountable for hiring illegals. The following issues are not specifically mentioned within the constitution. Understanding this, our viewpoints are as follows:
Abortion: The right to due process mentioned in the Constitution means that abortion should be illegal, but there are instances in which women are r***d or are in danger. In those cases, abortions are necessary. That being said, they should be privatized. The party remains pro-life, but in instances of r**e or danger, women will have the right, privately, to an abortion. Government involvement should not be present when dealing with this personal, social issue. Global Warming: While Global Warming is a known issue and has been scientifically proven, The United States is not to blame for the bulk of the issue. Countries without the funds to stop the occurrence are the major contributors and hold the most responsibility for the issue. At this time, federal aid and support should be more heavily concentrated on immediate issues in this country such as economic reform and military spending. Same-Sex Marriage: Once again, the issue is not mentioned in the constitution. The right to legalize same-sex marriage shall be left up to the states. We, as a party do not believe in “Blanket Laws”. every state is made up of a different demographic. States will know what is best for their people. It is up to them to vote on this issue. National Debt: As a whole, we need to use American resources as much as possible and stop outsourcing. This does not mean a complete elimination of trade. It would not repeat the struggles of the Embargo Act, per se. It simply decreases the amount of American and Foreign relationships to entangle us into unnecessary conflicts. Entitlements: In the case of social welfare, entitlements to citizens should be decreased. the requirements and programs available to citizens shall be left up to the states in which they reside. Once again, blanket laws on social issues shall not be passed by the national government. Ma*****na: Because there is no mention of recreational use of drugs in the Constitution, the decision is left to the states on legality.
