Hello Club Members and Friends,

Hot, mucky summer days sure did come too early! What happened to spring? My cold weather crops in the garden like spinach and lettuce have already bolted before I even got a good harvest. You just never know what Mother Nature is going to through at us!
Our next meeting is coming up on June 18th. Hope you can join us. Meetings are held at St. John’s Blymire UCC at 1009 Blymire Rd, Dallastown. Meetings begin at 1 PM followed by light refreshments at the conclusion of the meeting. Come early to get a good parking spot, register, sign up for bus trips, socialize and find a comfortable cushioned seat in the sanctuary.
The Chorus is taking a summer break and won’t be back on the program until September. Although we’ll miss them, we still have great programs planned so be sure to come.
June’s Program: Musical Memories - a volunteer group of musical theater performers who have been performing at nursing homes and assisted living facilities for a number of years. You may have seen them perform at the York Little Theater, now called The Belmont. Bring a friend and enjoy the entertainment!
Community Outreach Project: Christ Lutheran Church of Spry is in need of just about everything except baby food. Paper goods like toilet paper and paper towels should be singles or in small packets. A donation jar for your cash or check will also be on the table if you prefer making such a donation. Make checks payable to Christ Lutheran Church of Spry.
