FAM-ily ties & political fire at last night’s Kennedy-Carter dinner! Grateful to be in attendance with Quentin Postell District 4 and the team to take it all in! The Whitfield County Democratic Committee stacked the stage with a stellar candidate line up, and I’m glad we were there to take notes!! Time to turn this inspiration into action and continue working towards preserving our home!

City of Dalton has NO data center ordinance; but, they have a very intricate, detailed and user unfriendly curbside yard debris/limb removal ordinance. City Attorney must spend lots of time on the ever evolving regulations.

Join us today 8/17/26 @ City Hall at 6:00 pm to ask Mayor and City Council Members what they plan to do about the proposals for a Data Center ordinance and moratorium. Concerned citizens will make public comments about data center concerns and ordinance and moratorium demands.

Public comments come at the beginning of the meeting. Three minutes limit. Sign up at entry door.

This is a nonpartisan issue. Repeat. This is a nonpartisan issue. Anyone who feels a data center ordinance is at least as important as yard debris and limb removal - be at City Hall at 6:00pm.
