It's my last day of High School. It only took 42 years (46 if you count the four I was a student) to get finished. It has been an honor to be a teacher and colleague of the people too numerous to count. Now its time to join such illuminaries as Lee K, Tony J., Tony B., Jeff H, Rich T and Marvin K as Men of Leisure. I've been practicing on my off days and think I'm ready. It is my goal to one day I can reach the level of leisure of Connie A. One can hope.

I'm going to quote Indiana Jones from his retirement celebration, "Thanks for putting up with me".

Special thanks to Valerie. Love you.

✨ Student Spotlight ✨

Cruz Guo, a senior at Coahulla Creek High School, has been named a Commended Student in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program!

Commended Students place among the top 50,000 students across the nation who entered the 2023 competition by taking the 2021 Preliminary SAT / National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

“Cruz is a hard-working, dedicated student who focuses on doing his best every day," said Billy Singletary, Cruz's math teacher. "He enjoys collaborating with others to develop a deep understanding of the content rather than just trying to get the best grade.”

Please help us congratulate this scholastically-talented senior on an outstanding achievement!
