🥵 HEAT ADVISORY – NORTH GEORGIA ☀️

Another hot August day is ahead. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory through 8 PM Monday for much of north and central Georgia, including our area.

🌡️ Heat index values could reach up to 109°F.

If you’re working or spending time outside today:

* 💧 Drink plenty of water
* 🌳 Take frequent breaks in the shade or A/C
* ⏰ Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon
* 👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing
* 👀 Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and others who may be especially vulnerable to the heat
* 🚗 Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle
