It is an independent entity and is not associated or funded by local or state government. We had the best, most inspiring morning at our Women's Coffee 🫶

Thank you to everyone who came out this morning to spend time with us.

Opportunities like these would not be possible without our IGNITE Total Resource Campaign sponsors, Mohawk Industries and the Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center. Our quarterly Women's Networking Coffee is THIS WEEK, and we want you there!

Join us on Friday, September 4th, for a morning full of quality conversation and connection with ladies from around the Greater Dalton community and beyond. This networking event is free to attend and open to the community, so you can bring all of your besties and favorite coworkers to join us.

We'll see you at 110 Depot St. (Community Foundation of NWGA building) at 8:30 AM on Friday for an hour of networking fun. ☕️🫶

This morning we were pleased to kick off the first of our new exclusive community briefing events.

These events were introduced as part of our refreshed membership benefits, designed specifically for our Accelerator, Investor, and Mission Partner members. Here, we get to create opportunities for deeper conversations around the issues and organizations shaping our region.

Our first Community Briefing guest was April Cameron, CEO of the Chattanooga Airport. She shared valuable insights on the impact of this airport in our region, a little bit about their operations, and a lot about who is coming to the Chattanooga Airport.

Attendees also heard an exciting update from Believe Greater Dalton’s Anna Adamson, who recapped many of the recent accomplishments of our strategic initiative and got the group excited for the future.

What makes these Community Briefing events so special is that the conversations are incredibly intimate. With the smaller, more conversational setting, attendees are able to directly address the speakers and engage with them to learn more about the pieces of information relevant to their business.

We’re excited to continue offering these sessions each quarter as one of the many ways we’re continuing to add meaningful value to our membership tiers.

Our girl Dr. Stephani Womack is celebrating her 8th anniversary of being a Greater Dalton Chamber crew member. 🎉

There are many things we could say about what Stephani has done for the Chamber.

We could look back on some of her many accomplishments and revisit the many, many titles she's been called over the years.

We could review the programs that wouldn't be possible without her commitment, or remember the ideas that never would have made it off the drawing board if it weren't for her willingness to serve.

We could talk about the fact that Stephani has shown up every day, even on the darkest of days in her personal life, and still asked, "How can I help you?"

But if you've known Stephani throughout these past eight years, you already know these things.

So instead, we want to say something that Stephani doesn't hear very often: "Thank you."

Thank you, Stephani, for your commitment to your team, your community, and your organizations. Thank you for the late nights, early mornings, and working lunches. Thank you for always saying yes to more and always following through. Thank you for your authentic leadership that steers everyone around you in the right direction.

Thank you for being you.

Your team is proud to work under you and can't wait to see what all you accomplish in the next eight years.
