The Dalton Library was sad to learn of the passing of former library employee Lynn Bilotta, who served as a Library Assistant from 1996 to 2008. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Charles Parish or to St. Jude Research Hospital.

If you are looking for a place to bring your gently used books, Stockbridge is accepting them until Saturday!

The last day to donate books for our Annual Used Book Sale is June 20 before 1:30pm. We have this deadline as our volunteers need time to sort through all the books we receive and prepare for the sale. We kindly ask that you do not leave bags or boxes of books outside the library doors. Books left outside become weather damaged and need to be thrown away, which creates unnecessary work for our dedicated and hardworking volunteers.

Up to 2 bags or 2 boxes of gently used books can be brought inside the Library to our front desk to be donated.

Thank you all for your support by donating books before this deadline!

Worried about ticks? Got questions about tick-born illnesses? Not sure how to properly remove a tick yourself? Sophie Carnes Jannen, a public health nurse from the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission will give a presentation on how to propertly remove a tick and what you can do to keep you and family safe from these pesky creatures. Her presentation will be followed by Q & A.
