🚨 School Zone Lights Are Back! 📚🎒

It’s hard to believe, but the new school year is almost here! As students, parents, teachers, and staff head back to school, school zone flashing lights will be activated soon.

Please remember to:
🚗 Slow down and obey the posted school zone speed limit
👀 Watch carefully for students and crossing guards
📵 Put the phone down and stay focused
🚌 Be alert around school buses and drop-off/pick-up areas
⏰ Give yourself a few extra minutes for the morning commute

A few extra seconds of caution can make a huge difference. Let’s start the school year by keeping our kids safe! 💙

Extreme heat is the deadliest weather hazard in the U.S..
Take it seriously, know the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

🥵 Heat Exhaustion: Heavy sweating, weakness, dizziness, nausea
🚨 Heat Stroke: High body temperature, confusion, loss of consciousness

Prevention is key: Stay hydrated, limit outdoor activity during peak heat, and protect the most vulnerable (pets, kids and elderly).

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms please call 9-1-1 or seek medical attention immediately.

Good morning residents,
We want to alert you of a scam that is being seen around our city. Please note we as the City of Dalworthington Gardens will NEVER ask you to wire money, pay in bit coin, gift card, or any other way that requires you to not contact the city. As you can see these scammers have gotten very specific in their letter and have even stolen our logo to post on their paper. Unfortunately Scammers have gotten very creative and believable making it harder for the public to differentiate between real and fake. Please share this information with your neighbors and elderly that may not be connected to us on social media as we attempt to ensure the financial security of our residents. When in doubt please contact City Hall and question the validity of the information prior to making any payouts.
