Our Story

Our district serves the communities of Colma, Brisbane, Broadmoor, Daly City, and Pacifica. We have 4,200 students at five high schools: Jefferson, Oceana, Terra Nova, Thornton and Westmoor. We also serve students with an Adult Education and Adult Transition program.

We believe that excellence is achieved through equity. We are a diverse community composed of Hispanic/Latino, American Indian/Alaskan natives, Filipino, White, Asian, African-American, and Pacific Islanders. Fourteen percent of our student population are are English Learner (EL) students, and 9% are students with disabilities (8.8%).

Our mission is to take students to and through college and career.
